DiscFi

DiscFi Tags Master

Virtual Tags

One tag, all year. The number moves without it.

Each player keeps one tag as their ID for the whole season, so there are no handoffs and no lost tags. Their tag number lives online and moves after every event.

What stays the same: UDisc events and scoring, the Tag Master report, and standings on your club page.

What changes: check-in finds the player, not the tag. After the round the Tag Master sets the new numbers, and the standings re-sort. Nothing changes hands.

How a season runs

From sign-up to standings

Five steps. The player only does the first two.

  1. Register Player

New players sign up once from their phone with their name. They get a short access code to check in with, and pick how they pay the yearly club fee: cash to the Tag Master now, Venmo Coming soon

Try it with our demo club: register with UnoAttack Virtual.

  2. Check in at each event Player or Tag Master

Players open their Player ID, enter their access code, and pick the course and date. Playing the cash game? They tick the box and enter the cash buy-in. It goes into the CTP and Ace pots.

Or the Tag Master taps the player's NFC tag or scans their QR sticker and they're in. See how tap and scan check-in works.

  3. Hand out the season tag Tag Master

New registrants show up at the top of the Tag Master report marked New. Give them their tag and tick Tag provided. If the tag is written on the Tag Master's phone, the box ticks itself.

  4. Play the round Everyone

    Score in UDisc as usual.

  5. Set the new numbers Tag Master

The Tag Master enters each player's new tag number using the club's rule, and the standings update. The cash game is settled on the same screen.

For Tag Masters

Who's new and who's paid, at a glance

An example of what the Tag Master report shows. Only the Tag Master can mark someone paid. Players saying they paid never counts on its own.

Johnny RobertsNEWCASH DUE $15

Missy GannonNEW

Paul McBeth

Ken ClimoCASH GAME DUE $5

Example names. When Venmo is switched on, a Venmo payment marks the player paid on its own.

Optional

Tap to check in. The season tag can carry an NFC chip. The Tag Master holds it to their phone and the player is checked in with their current tag number. No code to type and no list to scroll. The chip only holds a link with the player's ID, never their name or code.

Standings

That's the whole idea: the numbers move online, and the tag in your bag stays the same.
